KT Enterprises, a landscape installation and development firm in the Mid-Atlantic, has more than four decades of experience in the industry. Serving the landscape installation and development needs of clients including commercial, multi-use residential, government, environmental and planned development projects. KT Enterprises has an internal designer on their staff but when it comes to certain times of year or large-scale projects, they often need support for designs, traces, take-offs, and job support. With large-scale jobs, KT looks for a partner that understands the industry, the products and can look for value-engineering solutions when bidding on large-scale projects. KT was bidding on a multi-phase/year, large-scale commercial project that included more than $400,000 in materials. They needed detailed support to win and execute the job including design, take-off, value-engineering, and project support.

Central Commercial Services partnered with KT to provide full support (design, trace, take-off) across three stages of the project, pump stations, and a detailed-phased material list to help them manage the inventory and ordering over the life of the job to maximize savings.
Results
Central Commercial Services identified cost savings on fittings, saving more than 5% on nearly half a million dollars in materials, which helped KT to win the job. In addition, these fittings helped save labor costs because the joint restraints were already built-in, making assembly quicker for their team.
