Down to Earth Landscaping is A full-service contractor working out the Mid Atlantic. As the business grew, new avenues and differentiated customer types shifted their business into drainage to help capture stormwater for new construction homes in order to meet requirements for stormwater management on new sites. Down to Earth already had extensive drainage knowledge but were lacking a partner to assist in design, stock and service the systems they were looking to install.

Down to Earth reached out to their local account rep to get a meeting to go over their concerns, the team from Down to Earth met with the account rep, local branch manager and the drainage Subject Matter Expert to discuss their current process and see how we could help. Within 24 hours of the meeting, we had the existing plans, forecast and expectations for service laid out and agreed upon to help them grow into the new stormwater category and make them as effective as possible to get these projects installed.
Results
By having the parts list and the forecast in place, we were able to quickly bring in the parts needed to facilitate Down to Earth’s needs. Within weeks, we were shipping the necessary material directly to the job site. This prevented them having to use their own trucks and equipment to pick up and deliver materials when they needed them. Profitability and efficiency have grown as well as our relationship with Down to Earth.
